I Thessalonians Series
Today we began a new series on I Thessalonians. It is one of the earliest letters from the Apostle Paul and is full of fitting instruction for young churches- like us. Please Join us as we study through the book. If you want to get the most out of this study I would recommend that you read some other supporting Biblical materials to help make sense of this epistle:
Acts 16-18 (the story of the gospel coming to Macedonia and Achaia-including Thessalonica)
I and II Thessalonians- I Thessalonians is only 5 chapters. I would recommend reading the whole book in one sitting several days in a row in order to marinade in it.
Phillipians (this church was planted by Paul just before the Thessalonians, and they supported him financially while he was there).
I Corinthians- Paul wrote I Thessalonians while he was in Corinth. This will help to add some additional context.
